Charishma Kaliyanda to contest Holsworthy seat in 2015 NSW State Elections

Labor party has appointed 26 year old Charishma Kaliyanda to fight for the seat of Holsworthy in 2015. Ms Kaliyanda was pre-selected unopposed, to wrest the seat from Liberal MP for Menai Melanie ­Gibbons. The seat of Menai will be abolished and Holsworthy introduced from the next state election  on March 28 , following boundary redistribution in 2013.

Charishma is originally from south India. She attended Marsden Road and Newbridge Heights Public Schools and Macquarie Fields High School. Ms Kaliyanda joined the Labor Party in 2007.
