The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2015
The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) will run from 14 – 27 August 2015 with Bollywood actress Vidya Balan as its ambassador, with a full program of events exploring and celebrating the theme of Equality.
The Festival will for the first time incorporate Indian Independence Day celebrations, to be held at Federation Square on 15 August. The IFFM Awards Night will feature an Indian-inspired fashion show showcasing Australian designers along with Indian designer, Anamika Khanna. Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor will walk the ramp at the IFFM Equality Fashion Show on 15th August at the National Gallery of Victoria.
The Festival includes awards night, a Bollywood dance competition and a range of other celebrations at Federation Square.
A handful of films from three of the most unique voices in Indian and Australian film will be showed. This is an opportunity to watch some of the biggest box-office hits of the last 12 months on the big screen. Regional language movies and movies from Indian subcontinent also will feature in the festival.Movie venues are HOYTS Melbourne Central and HOYTS Highpoint.

The Festival will close on 27 August.
