The festival aims at promoting Punjabi films and filmmakers and is scheduled to be held for 3 days and will conclude with Awards night on the third day. The venue for the awards night is one of the best theatre in Melbourne city. The highlights of the night will be a variety of performances and the awards presentation to the talented actors and actresses of the Punjabi Film Industry. The celebrities from different sectors from Punjabi Film Industry will be invited and honoured at the awards night. Short movies competition is a part of this event as well.
