Rudra Homa : Rudra homa is a powerful fire ritual for cleansing the system of all deep-rooted disorders. It is a Vedic ritual which helps us connect to the fire element, one of the five major elements in Nature along with sacred chants. The homa is performed to invoke the grace of Rudra, one of the many energies of Shiva.
Procession and Sacred dip: Taking holy bath in a sacred river such as Ganges or Godavari and especially on the most auspicious day of Kumbh Mela gives an opportunity for people to purify their body and soul. The deities from various temples will be brought in a procession and immersed in the water sanctified with Ganga water.
