Event Activities: Pongal Cooking, Mulaipari, Uri Adi, Stage Events, Information Centre, Multicultural Events, Delicious Food Stalls, Raffle Draw with Attractive Prizes
The Adelaide Tamil Association (ATA) , Ceylon Tamil Association (CTA),Shruthi Adelaide, Adelaide Tamil School.South Australia Tamil School,Hindu Society of SA and Bharatha Arts of South Australia will join together to celebrate Adelaide Pongal 2016. The Associations along with the Adelaide City Council and the people of SA will be celebrating and honouring our local Farmers. This year the event is getting even bigger and we are expecting more than 3000 people to join us in this celebration.
This is a free entry event held at Bonython Park, North Adelaide from 9:00 AM onwards. It will be an actioned packed day with loads of cultural and fun activities for all people. We request visitors to join us from the beginning of the event so that they can witness and participate in all the activities. There will also be many food stalls for people to sit back and enjoy. We will be holding a raffle draw and there are attractive prizes to be won.
Adelaide Tamil Association wishes everyone Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year 2016. We invite you all to come and join us for Adelaide Pongal to celebrate and honour our local Farmers.
