Based on the true story of Moideen and Kanchanamala, ‘Ennu Ninte Moideen’ movie is directed by R.S.Vimal. The main cast includes Prithviraj, Parvathi, Saikumar and Lena. The music for the movie is composed by M. Jayachandran and Ramesh Narayan. Back ground score is composed by Gopi Sunder.
This real life story of Moideen and Kanchanamala, residents of Mukkam Village in Kerala was made famous by Author S.K.Pottakkatt in his novel Naadan Premam. This story was first made as a documentary by Vimal then into a full length feature film. Kanchanamala is still alive and she insisted on Prithvi Raj playing the role of Moideen as he has some resemblance of Moideen.
