Synopsis: Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali is expected to break Box-office records. The teaser gave the first hints when it broke Youtube recrods by garnering over 5 Million views in 24 hours of its release. It is only a fair guess what all records the movie will break. The movie is a gangster drama film directed by Pa Ranjith. On 17th August 2016 Rajinikanth completes 40 years in filmome scenes were shot in Hongkong and Bangkok. The movie will be released on 15th July 2016.

Air Asia Promotion Poster for Kabali
The story line of the movie Kabali is loosely based on the real life story of a Chennai Don
Rajinikanth in this movie plays the role of Kabaleeswaran and the name of the movie is derived from that
The only Don movie Rajini did before Kabali was Basha and that was a super hit.
The movie will be dubbed in Malay
The movie was made on a budget of US$24Million
Rajinikanth had personally asked S. Thanu to produce the film
The makers of the film had earlier considered using title Kaali, which was the title of Rajinikanth’s 1980 film
The villain role in the movie was initially offered to Prakash Raj. But Prakash Raj declined to take the role.
The Malaysian airline, AirAsia is an official partner for Kabali . For the movie publicity some of the AirAsia planes will be painted with a Kabali theme. AirAsia will have customised in-flight menu to promote the movie and will also sell Kabali-themed in-flight merchandise
Kabali will be dubbed in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. In Singapore and Malaysia, the movie will be released in Malay and Tamil. The film will also be dubbed in Thai and Chinese. There are plans to release the film in Hong Kong and China
